A properly designed cabling system provides a universal platform upon which an
overall information system's strategy is built. Today’s cabling infrastructure must
support multiple voice, data, video and multimedia systems; FDDI, Ethernet, Gigabit
Ethernet, Fiber Channel, Token Ring, ATM, and more. Your cabling plant may require
several independent cabling solutions of different media types to each workstation. It
should then not only be reliable, but flexible enough to meet the demands of higher
speed/bandwidth applications, new technologies, and the inevitable network growth.
At the same time that system must be able to ease the disruptions or potential
network downtime associated with office restructuring (moves, adds, & changes), and
any of the other challenges your IT Network faces on a daily basis.
In addition to our decades of experience, to insure that your Cabling System is the
right one for your company, Gavin Systems has three Registered Communications
Distribution Designers (RCDDs) on staff, full-time. Through continuing education, the
Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) requires their certified
designers to stay current on both national and local low-voltage and communication
standards, as well as any technical developments within the industry. Subsequently,
Gavin Systems can design and install the system best suited for you.
